Tip: Do not play the metronome until immediately before use. Do not leave with the spring fully wound for a long time. This increases the service life of your metronome
As early as 1895 Gustav Wittner founded a precision mechanical company for the production of metronomes, which his son Rudolf Wittner gradually expanded into a medium-sized industrial company. Wittner soon set new standards: the metronomes produced alongside the Maelzeln under the "TAKTELL" trademark became such a quality term that the word "metronome" was replaced by "TAKTELL" among experts in many countries. Experience and tradition, the latest technologies and modern production methods make Wittner the manufacturer with the most extensive range of metronomes in the world! In addition to metronomes, Wittner produces other music accessories (tuning forks, bowing accessories, tripods, etc.) as well as articles for the care and storage of audio and data carriers. The company, which has been family-owned since 1975, enjoys a worldwide reputation for the reliability and quality of its products.
Why Buy from Stringers?
~ RUN BY MUSICIANS, FOR MUSICIANS ~
Stringers has been supplying instruments, bows and accessories to students, parents and professional musicians since 1992. We're proud of our commitment to providing the very best service and offering the best quality, carefully chosen products, for our customers.
All Stringers instruments are set up expertly by our luthiers in our Edinburgh workshop and checked by our playing staff. This is a stand-out difference from instruments bought from non-specialist suppliers, and shops who simply import and sell instruments. Our setups really make the world of difference. Just take a look at our reviews to see how.
